About the Ampthill Town F.C. - Youth Academy
Welcome to the website of Ampthill Town F.C. - Youth section. The club runs numerous teams for all age groups up to and including Under 18's. Players of all ages and abilities are always welcomed at the club. These teams represent the club in various local leagues, including the Milton Keynes and District Junior League and the Chiltern and District League. Teams are also entered into a number of indoor and outdoor tournaments throughout the season and the club stages its own very successful tournament in early July each year. Most age groups share the club's ground, which is at Abbey Lane in Ampthill. The ground is next to the Tidy Tip, so follow the signs. Click on this link for directions and a map of how to find us - Find us.

Matches are normally played on either Saturdays or Sundays and if there is not a match then teams usually train at Abbey Lane. During the summer there is usually some form of training organised, by each manager.

On match days, there is a Tuck shop selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and sweets - all profits go to the club. If you would like to help with the shop contact one of the team managers.

You should have received a parents/players/coaches charter on signing-on evening. It is very important that everyone reads this - if you have not got a copy then ask your team's manager.
Volunteers
Why are volunteers required? The managers put in huge effort, not only to run and train the teams but also to help organise fundraising events. Funds are vital to keep the teams going (e.g. to buy the kit) and to maintain and improve facilities. So if you want the club and your player's team to keep going, please help when and where you can. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the Tuck Shop, training, putting up the goals etc. So if you want the team to succeed then don't be shy - speak to your team's manager and do something help out the club!
Subs
The club does all it can to set subs at a reasonable level for each season - so please help by paying your subs promptly each season.

You should have already received the bank details (if not, speak to your manager) so you can set up standing orders in plenty of time for the new season. It is normally possible to pay by standing order - on the 1st of every month (8 months September to April) - or by a lump sum in advance. The managers would like everyone to use one of these methods if at all possible, as cash or cheques on a monthly basis tend to be a nightmare to administer. Whichever method you choose, please ensure you pay your subs promptly!
